Frequently Asked Questions

Why wouldn't I just hire a full-time designer?

Good question! For starters, the annual cost of a full-time senior-level designer now exceeds £70,000 plus benefits. Aside from that, you may not always have enough work to keep them busy at all times, so you're stuck paying for time you aren't able to utilise.

With the monthly plan, you can pause and resume your subscription as often as you need to ensure you're only paying your designer when you have work available for them.

Even with the premium subscription, you are getting a senior level designer at the cost of a junior, saving up to 50% when compared to hiring a full time employee.

Is there a limit to how many requests I can have?

No, there is no limit to how many requests you have. However, I do ask for larger projects such as a full website design, that you break the requests down into pages i.e. 'Design the homepage' = one design request.

How fast will I receive my designs?

I aim to provide quality designs, and sometimes that takes time. For all requests, I estimate a 2-3 day turnaround time. However, if a request is large and I anticipate it taking longer than this, I will notify you and may ask for the request to be broken down.

Who are the designers?

Shockingly, ZYNA Studio is a design agency of one, meaning you will be working directly with me!

Now you may be thinking, if it is just you, how can you manage? Great question - I limit the number of clients I have at any one time, so that I can continue to provide high quality designs for those who have subscribed.

In instances where the development add on has been chosen, you will work alongside myself and a partner developer.

How does the pause feature work?

We understand you may not have enough design work to fill up entire month. Perhaps you only have one or two design requests at the moment. That's where pausing your subscription comes in handy.

Billing cycles are based on 31 day period. Let's say you sign up and use the service for 21 days, and then decide to pause your subscription. This means that the billing cycle will be paused and you'll have 10 days of service remaining to be used anytime in the future.

What programs do you use?

All of my designs are created in Figma. For design requests, you will be set up on your very own workspace in Clickup.

How do I request designs?

Once you have subscribed, and we have had our onboarding call, I will create a workspace for you on Clickup. Here you will be able to add all your requests and track the progress.

What if I don't like the design?

This is the beauty of the subscription based model. I can just do another revision! The ultimate goal is for you to be 100% satisfied, and we won't stop until you are!

What if I only have a single request?

Not a problem. I completely understand that the subscription based model is not for everyone, especially when there is only one request. In those cases, we will go by an hourly or day rate.

Is there any design work you don't do?

Design is a big world, so yes! I don't do everything. ZYNA Studio does not cover: 3D modeling, animated graphics (GIFS, etc.), illustrations, document design (medical forms, etc.), complex packaging, and extensive print design (magazines, books, etc.).

Are there any refunds if I don't like the service?

Due to the high quality nature of the work, if the work has started there will be no refunds issued. If you are unsure or have any questions, feel free to book in a call!
